SHE'S GONE.....

it's now official. several days ago i received an email from someone i didn't know, notifying me of the death of a mutual friend. cynthia lived on the caribbean island of anguilla, in the u.s. virgin islands. she owned and worked with horses, loved to cycle and run and swim, and was learning scuba diving. she was a relaxed yet complex woman, filled with curiosity and life.

i learned today from one of the anguillan newspapers that she died doing one of the things she loved, cycling. in a freak accident, she was struck and killed by a bus. http://www.anguillian.com/article/articleview/6730/1/140/
