The more you learn, especially about science, the less you need to resort to superstition. The graphs illustrate the point. The image below depicts the responses among those who have a bachelor's degree (four years at a college or university).
In his landmark TV series Cosmos, astrophysicist and cosmologist Carl Sagan pointed out that the doctor in attendance at one's birth exerts a greater gravitational pull than any of the celestial bodies which allegedly influence our personalities within the byzantine beliefs of astrology.
